Polar Challenge Blog

Well, hasn’t the time flown by.  The last few weeks seem to have been manic with various things going on and here we are, one day before the trip starts.  New Blue is looking good and tomorrow will be carting us off on our adventure.  Geoff is working like a mad man with last minute task and preparations and I get the easy side with web updates and deciding how many pairs of socks I need.   You know, I used to put clean socks on every day and at the end of the week I couldn’t get my shoes on!   Don’t worry, I won’t be telling any more bad jokes like that.

I know a few people were having problems posting comments.  We are sorry about that, I have had to reconfigure the site and I’m sorry but we lost a couple of post as a result.  If you click the ”comments” heading under each post we make, you  can now comment on various parts as we travel along.  We look forward to your comments.  :o)

With just over 2 weeks to go before we set off into the sunset with our trusty 3-wheeled extension we decided that now is a good time to activate our blog so that we can count down the last couple of weeks.

Things have changed a lot, the 40+ teams taking part has now dropped to about 6 UK teams though we are still determined to continue.
